Muse Hair Salon: Halo Launch Party

Over the weekend I got to go to an exciting event hosted at Muse (my favorite place on earth- my hair salon!). It was a launch event of the new makeup line they now will be carrying! They have brought the talented Israel Edri on board with the Halo Luxury Make up line. Israel Edri created Halo from the finest quality ingredients on today’s market. He not only has over 15 years of experience, but he has worked with top companies like Estée Lauder, CHANEL, Givenchy, and Elizabeth Arden. There were models and staff members walking around with their makeup done displaying his work and I even got to watch how they do the eye brow threading. There was also some beautiful art work on display by Joshua Oliveira, who was also performing live art during the event. Go LIKE Muse on Facebook because they are always have fun events you want to be involved in! And if you’re looking for a new salon I highly recommend checking them out!

I took a little trip to the west coast of Florida to visit my aunt in Sarasota. Her house is the epitome of relaxation. It was great to get away even if just for a few days.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

photo 1

Anyone who knows me knows I can’t keep my hair one way for too long. Luckily I have my girl Julia who is an absolute HAIR GOD! For summer I wanted to do something fun so I channeled a little Alexa Chung and went with a long wavy bob. I absolutely love it and it felt great to shed a few inches. If you live in Boca Raton definitely check out Muse Salon and make a appointment with Julia- you’ll thank me!

Muse

julia

Last night I got to go see one of my favorite people, my hairstylist (and good friend) Julia! She used me as a hair model for a demo at her salon during a event they were having last night. I got to pretend I had big hair with the new type of extensions called the Halo. There was entirely too much wine involved. Julia has been doing my hair for years now and I don’t let anyone else lay a finger on my pretty little head. Hopefully we’ll get the ball rolling on a collaboration between us soon. In the mean time check out the salon she’s at, Muse and like them on Facebook!

Sometimes all you need is at least one person to hold your hand, especially in those shoes.

Candidly Nicole

If you haven’t seen Nicole Richie’s new AOL series “Candidly Nicole” I am about to make your day. The quick five minute web series based off her Twitter feed deals with everything from getting a tramp stamp removed to finding out what flower makes you look desperate to learning teenage slang from her younger sister and to being a drag queen. You can watch the episodes HERE

Thursday’s

Last night was another fun filled girl’s night with a birthday party thrown in. Lots of champagne and shenanigans. I was feeling very 70’s hippie chic yesterday with my Brandy Melville silky rayon pants in the aztec print. I paired a Nastygal crop top, nude wedges and a Rebecca Minkoff bag to complete the look. They’re beyond comfy and breathable and can be styled casual or dressed up. I highly recommend grabbing yourself a pair of pants like these for summer.
