Anyone who knows me knows I can’t keep my hair one way for too long. Luckily I have my girl Julia who is an absolute HAIR GOD! For summer I wanted to do something fun so I channeled a little Alexa Chung and went with a long wavy bob. I absolutely love it and it felt great to shed a few inches. If you live in Boca Raton definitely check out Muse Salon and make a appointment with Julia- you’ll thank me!
Last night I got to go see one of my favorite people, my hairstylist (and good friend) Julia! She used me as a hair model for a demo at her salon during a event they were having last night. I got to pretend I had big hair with the new type of extensions called the Halo. There was entirely too much wine involved. Julia has been doing my hair for years now and I don’t let anyone else lay a finger on my pretty little head. Hopefully we’ll get the ball rolling on a collaboration between us soon. In the mean time check out the salon she’s at, Muse and like them on Facebook!
If you haven’t already realized one of the hottest trends for summer are the floral halos! They’re perfect for channeling your inner hippie and can be worn with pretty much anything. I absolutely love them whether you wear a simple dainty daisy halo circa Woodstock or go for some bigger roses and channel Lana Del Ray. One of my good friends owns Haute Blossom which is based in Miami and makes these affordable crowns. They are all handmade and come in a trio set (3 flowers) or a full set. She has a bunch of designs to choose from on her Etsy shop but also does custom orders! Be sure to check her out on Etsy here and follow her on Instagram and Twitter!!
Last night was another fun filled girl’s night with a birthday party thrown in. Lots of champagne and shenanigans. I was feeling very 70’s hippie chic yesterday with my Brandy Melville silky rayon pants in the aztec print. I paired a Nastygal crop top, nude wedges and a Rebecca Minkoff bag to complete the look. They’re beyond comfy and breathable and can be styled casual or dressed up. I highly recommend grabbing yourself a pair of pants like these for summer.
